Carved Journal

We're going to make a journal! The simplified template in this box was designed to accommodate A5 size refills (like the one in the kit) so you'll be able to create countless journals and easily get journal refills. Standard(ish) A5 size is 5.8"x8.3" but they vary slightly (kind of like buying clothing from different manufacturers). 

We're going to be working with two different types of leather. Embossed chrome tan, and 4-5 of veg tan. When you're using your template to create your own projects, keep in ming that the "spine" piece needs to fold easily or else your journal won't want to close all the way. This means we need to use lighter weight leather on the spine.
